Microsoft Movie Maker is a part of Windows Essentials 2012. If you have installed Movie Maker stand-alone program or a paid version of Movie Maker, you have installed an invalid non-Microsoft program. Windows Movie Maker is a free video editing software package that works with most computers that use a Windows operating system.
